Apparently today the 6th March is Dentist's Day. Deb told me about that one. As I had had to cancel a check up appointment in February, I decided that it was appropriate to make a new appointment on Dentist's Day. I have been pulled in a lot of different directions lately and today is the day I start concentrating on puting myself first and getting back in shape. Next is new specs!
My dentist surgery should be called this, the receptionists are not exactly what you would call cheerful, so least it would make me smile knowing they work at the "cheeky grin"
@shirleytemple I love the colours too. The whole building is nice. @joluise She is a cool dentist too. Even my husband is comfortable visiting her and he has been traumatised with RAF/RAAF dentists for years, so now he is retired he gets to choose who he goes to.
Love the name of the practice, great find! I must tell Gareth (our youngest) whose a Dentist. I suppose Dentist's Day is an Australian tradition, I've never heard of it over here anyway!
@brennan1983 Nothing crazy about us! There is a dental practice is Salamander Bay called Pacific Smiles and I think Dr Carr decided to call her practice Cheeky Grin as a bit of a spin off from that. Nothing odd about that!!
@rhos Don't think it is an Aussie thing. My daughter saw it on the Internet and I think it comes from a website called daysoftheyear.com I think it is a light hearted thing rather than too serious though. I will ask Dr Carr if she has heard of it next time I am there.
