Is it a whale? by onewing

Is it a whale?

I wandered down to the beach at the bottom of our road this morning with a view to taking a photo of the beach and the marina, but then I spotted this chap snorkelling. I didn't notice until I got home that I managed to get a shot of the water spouting out of the snorkel, so I had to use this instead.
I knew it wasn't a whale really, as the season doesn't start until May!!!

@steampowered No, the whales are safe here. We get lots of them passing through on their way from Antarctica to North of Byron Bay to give birth in warmer waters around May and then they travel back in September or October. Great to see, they put on a good show and swim really close to the boat. a bit too close sometimes!
