Today we went to Maitland Steamfest. This little engine is the one we saw at Bundanoon a few days ago. Obviously it was on its way to Maitland and managed to travel the 300 kms to get here for its moment of glory. I am sure many more people took a photo of it today.
It has managed to pick up some carriages on the way too and is working very hard for its two days at Maitland.
@wordpixman Thanks Arthur. My husband loves steam trains too. As I said above, we saw this little engine at Bundanoon while we were away for a few days. Bundanoon is about 300 km from here and the engine was obviously on its way to the Steamfest. Good to see it made it.
@joluise@winnedreamer Thanks. Not the best picture, but as Nic said it wasn't easy getting a photo of trains with hundreds of people milling around. But because I saw this engine at Bundanoon a few days ago I had to put it on my 365 today to say that it managed to travel the 300 km journey to the Steamfest.
@davidgnc Thanks David. I don't know where it started its journey from, so it would have travelled more than 300 km, because Bundanoon isn't exactly the metropolis!
