Classy Busker by onewing

Classy Busker

Friday is "people day" again and I saw this chap in Newcastle a while ago and thought he had an interesting face. He was so engrossed in his music that I don't think he saw me taking photos of him.

The rain has finally stopped and the sun is shining, so winter appears to be over for today at least. Hope it stays fine for the weekend.
A wonderful face! A great capture!

Fascinating shot. This is one brave red-headed fellow, managing to grow and keep a respectable beard in a world where "gingers" (and I hate the term) are generally despised.

Great shot Babs love the wistful look on his face, he looks lost in his music.

@steampowered Thanks Paul. I don't think they have a problem with people with ginger hair in Australia and they don't call them ginger here either, People with red hair are called Bluey!!!

@eyesmile He did have a lovely face, that's what drew me to take his photo.

@paulaw Thanks Paula. He was lost in the music.

Great photo Babs, I remember the day well, he was a very sensitive musician.

@winnedreamer It was a busy day too wasn't it, we covered a lot of ground that day!!

@marie65 Thanks Marie. I did try black and white, but it looked better in colour because of the colour of his hair.

The pale skin and red hair is interesting, I wonder where he is from. My dad had reddish hair and he was called carrot tops or ginger!!

He must have some serious sun protection, he's very pale! Good candid shot.

Good capture! You should print it for him!

@gypsy6 Thanks Deb.

@joluise @gamelee Thanks Jo and Lee. He was very pale, I noticed that on the day. I think people with red hair tend to be very sensitive to sun exposure, so he probably avoids it.

@angelat @angelar @humphreyhippo Thanks. I'm glad I spotted him, he had such a dreamy look on his face. Lost in the music I suspect.

@havrotb Tjhanks Barbara. I did print a copy of a photo I took of a busker back in April. http://365project.org/onewing/365/2013-04-12. I used to come across this chap every time I went to Cooks Hill and then after I printed the photo I have never seen him since. I suppose the chances of seeing this chap again is pretty remote too.

@colie Thank you. I agree. He looked as though he should have been in Paris, not Newcastle, New South Wales.

Gosh, He looks like a resurrection from 18th century. Nice doco shot.

@yaorenliu You're right. Hadn't thought of that. Looks like an old masters painting doesn't it.
