Walked down to the Anchorage Marina this morning. The sun was shining, but it was pretty chilly. We are down to single figures - 8 degrees C at 8 am today.
Walking along the boardwalk I spotted the shadow from the bollard and thought it looked like a sundial. I think the time is wrong though. This looks like ten minutes to ten, but it was really 8 am. Never were really efficient sundials!!
The sun has gone now and it is raining again. Ugh!
@joluise It's a good job I was up early. Not long after this it poured down and rained for the rest of the day. Don't think I could cope with -7 degrees. That is what you would expect in the UK and that is one of the reasons we came here all those years ago!!!
@marie65 Poor you going to Melbourne in winter. My daughter @gypsy6 is in Melbourne and she says its is 0 degrees there at the moment. I think you will need your thermals!!!
@lafish Thanks Laurie. It is chilly here at the moment, well chilly for Australia. Why are we always surprised when it turns cold, we know it is winter?
@havrotb Thanks Barbara. I know what you mean about lines. I have taken loads of photos of the actual wood on the boardwalk, but haven't put a close up of it on 365 yet. This is the closest I have got. I just love the lines in the wood.
the sun is shining here but very nippy here. When I got up it was -2 with an apparent temp of almost -7C so I stayed in bed a little longer
