I have just discovered that my photo yesterday of the pelican made it to the PP. Can't believe that. Absolutely blown away. Thank you to everyone who checked it out and for the fav's too.
Today we have been out with our walking group. We car pooled to Mallabula and then walked to Lemon Tree Passage along the fire trails and bushland.
At Lemon Tree Passage we walked along the waterfront and boardwalk, then up to the Bowling Club for lunch.
It has been a beautiful day today, but not much opportunity for photography. Most of our walk in bushland was not very inspiring for taking pictures.
I almost got a photo of two yellow tailed black cockatoos eating fir cones on a fence, but before I could focus the camera some of our walkers got too close to them and they flew off. Bugger!!!
I saw this boat at the waterfront at LTP which looked a bit different. I asked one of our friends to swim over to just in front of the boat and look as though it was just about to gobble him up, but he declined. No sense of adventure some people!!!
Lol Babs you do make me giggle. Fab composition what a shame he wasn't compliant with your wishes. What a great sense of fun the owner of this boat has. As to the bird thing when I am out with my husband an I o to take a bird shot he does a similar thing. Oh well!
Sorry I wasn't there Babs, I could have paddled over in my kayak that would have been a photo on many levels. Congratulations on your pelicans making it to the PP, I concur well deserved.

@eyesmile Our walking group is fun. We usually end up after the walk with lunch somehwhere or a barbeque. After yesterday's lunch though I think we should have had the lunch first and then walked it off!!!
There were about 24 of us on the walk and none of them would swim over to the boat for me to get the picture I wanted!!!
@paulaw I agree, spoil sports. It is the middle of winter though, so maybe I will go back in summer and try again!! We always have fun with the walking group. Thanks for the congrats on the PP
