It was really windy yesterday afternoon, been windy for days here and when we woke this morning we discovered a large and heavy branch had come off our gum tree, weakened by the wind . Fortunately it didn't cause any damage, just missed the car in the garage .
Beautiful silver colour, very Lord of the Rings. I think the moral of the story is never rush out to sweep up leaves because sometimes they blow away again (into the neighbours garden)
@paulaw Thanks Paula very Lord of the Rings. Unfortunately we have quite a few trees on our property and although none are deciduous some of the leaves do shed in strong winds and when it is dry weather, so it is a bit like perpetual motion sometimes.
