I've had a very lazy day today and haven't been out to take a photo, so this is a filler from our trip to Melbourne and this is at Lake Eildon in Victoria. I think there is something really beautiful about dead trees in water. It always makes me think of a sculpture.
@leestevo@beryl@mcmary@tryingforsighs@hermann@iwatts@tracelee@elaine55@lafish@gerry@dolphin Thanks everyone. sorry for the group reply again, but we are off out today and I am in a bit of a rush. I wanted to take a photo of the trees in the lake on the way down to Melbourne, but the day we past it it was 42 degrees and as it is on country roads, difficult to park close to where I wanted to take the photo, so I waited until our return trip and the temperature had gone down to a cool 36 degrees C!!! Still pretty hot down there I beliveve too. Deb said it was 42 degrees yesterday!!
I agree with you re dead trees in water Babs. That's a lovely example right there. I love the way you've got both banks into the shot as well as the tree and its reflection. If you were to crop it square, cropping out the bottom it'd be a quite different, but still lovely, photograph. QED
@golftragic Thanks Marnie I agree. I did crop it without the grasses at the front of the picture first but preferred it as it was because cropping it closer would have cut some of the reflection.
@angelat@eyesmile Thanks so much. I just love trees in water I think they are so beautiful. @chimfa You will have to call in next time you are in this part of the world. Just a short swim across the ditch from NZ. A bit more of a swim from Spain though Jane.
