@steampowered Thanks Paul. Not in the 40s here luckily, but the south has had terrible heat. Deb is melting in Victoria. It is only mid 30s here at the moment, but pretty humid which is the killer. Word of warning never come to Australia in February.
@bugsy Hi Heather. didn't realize you were back posting must check out your photos. didn't have the same opportunity to do a bums shot. I do a people photo on a Friday, so maybe my last bum shot will appear on there one day. (You are on my people day too back in December with Sue)
@eyesmile Thanks Gena. It was a surf boat carnival and the Australian Surf Rowers League have joined up with the Royal Australian Navy and the vests have the Navy logo on the back along with NAVY written down the side of the vest.
@happypat@angelar@joeyc@mcmary Thanks, it was a hot day and I was standing in the ocean to get this shot. Ended up with wet shorts when the waves lapped at my legs.
I'm glad someone asked about the vests, I too had been intrigued by the colour. I enjoyed this shot very much, it has everything one could ask for on a hot day and it's so clear and well-focussed. You've captured the perspective really well. Love it. What lens did you use?
@golftragic Thanks Marnie. I just use an advanced compact camera Lumix FZ100. I have a problem with my neck and the weight of heavier cameras play havoc with my neck, so if I want do anything more adventurous I use my husband's Nikon D90 or his 5100. (He carries all the heavy lenses round with him)!!!. He had his 500 mm lens with him this day. too much for me. I reckon my photos were just as good as his though, but don't tell him. ha ha
