Hinton Bridge by onewing

Hinton Bridge

Today I met up with Annie @annied and we had a great time. As we spent all our time talking, I didn't have time today to take a photo because after Annie left I had a medical appointment. So today's photo is one I took on Sunday on our way home from Tocal. It is of the underside of Hinton Bridge which spans the Paterson River. The bridge was completed in 1901.

I thought it would be a suitable photo for the pat-tex theme.

Today's black and white photo

I love this ---my first reaction was to the graduating tones and huesof colour from a yellow green to a blue-green and then comes the delightful structure in criss crosses !!

Reminds me of when I met up with Jackie and Heidi, we definitely seemed to do more talking than photography. Great symmetry in this shot Babs.

I really like the lines and timber textures. Was it started in 1900?

@dianeburns Yes Diane, the stone supports were constructed in 1900 and the bridge itself was built in 1901.
