A Light Bulb Moment by onewing

A Light Bulb Moment

I saw this model in a shop window and when I lined up the chandelier with her head it gave her quite an alien appearance.

I thought the light bulbs looked like large eyes glaring at me.

Today's black and white photo

For some reason, I am thinking of an inverted Carmen Miranda hat. Well spotted Babs.

This is really cute. The arms add to the look of surprise that one head has turned into a chandelier.

Well spotted. They do rather look like eyes.

A bit cruel Babs, but it did make me chuckle! It's so interesting how we all see a subject differently and photograph it differently too!

Like the blue light in the background too!

@pcoulson Thanks Peter. It was my husband and I who travelled with the RAF not my Dad. My Dad died when I was 3 and we then moved from Yorkshire to Lancashire and lived at Whitefield, so I changed from white rose to red rose. ha ha.

Love this! It's a real crack-up! Isn't it amazing what a difference a PoV can make?
May 14th, 2014
Fun shot. Is that a Christmas card in the window?
May 14th, 2014
@mcmary Thanks so much Mary. It was a very odd set up all together.

@angelat Thanks Angela. Strange window displays in Newcastle.
May 14th, 2014
@kathiecb I think you could be right Kathie. How strange. When I looked at it closer it looks like a Christmas tree with a star on top and under the tree is written Newcastle. The whole window display was a bit odd and you wouldn't expect to see a christmas tree in May. Perhaps it was decorated by work experience kids!
