Floating Dock by onewing

Floating Dock

I'm still trying to catch up, but at the moment it is a case of two steps forward and three back. I will get ahead one day I am sure. Consequently I haven't had much time to catch up on photos this week. I will try and catch up soon, just need a few more hours in a day. If I have missed some of your photos, sorry, I will try and catch up soon.

While I was doing my shopping a couple of days ago I was chatting to the lady at the check out in Woolworths. She is about the same age as me and was talking of retiring. She said "I hope I can stay on here now I am 65 because if I retired I wouldn't have anything to do." I didn't say a word! That was the saddest thing I had heard in a while.

Anyway, as I have been running round like a headless chicken again today I am posting another photo from the marina in Nelson Bay. I just loved how the fuel pumps on the floating dock were lit up and the reflections on the water.

Today's black and white photo

@creampuff Thanks so much Eve. I love reflections too and I am making the most of the clear skies and sunlight. Although in this case lamplight.

@hermann Thanks Sally. There are even more expensive ones on the other side of the marina. One is up for sale, a snip at $650,000, do you want to buy it?

@gigiflower Thanks. Not too many tourists around now and it is so lovely here in the early evening.

@pcoulson Thanks so much Peter. I was just heading back to my car when I spotted this shot.

@karlow75 Thanks so much for the fav Kane.

@jules13 Thanks Julie. It was a very peaceful evening.

@888rachel Thanks. I love the way the floating docks and the walkways creek in the early evening when all is quiet.

@wanabe You are right Meredith. We are so lucky.

@flyrobin Thanks Robyn. Expensive hobby I suspect.

@lilminimonka Thanks Brianna. I am looking forward to a very quiet weekend. I think I have earned it.
