Friday people photo day again. I have been putting a photo on 365 of people on a Friday for over a year now and I have just had a thought, the majority of the photos I take of men all have beards. Probably something very deep in that, but I don't know what it is. I think men with beards always seem to look much more interesting somehow.
When I was in Nelson Bay taking photos a few days ago I came across this lovely chap. He had been fishing on the breakwater and we had a bit of a conversation as he was packing up his fishing gear. The first thing he said to me was "All I got today was a wet bum and no fish" which is why I chose this as the title.
If I haven't had time the last few days to check out your photos I do apologise, I am running round like a headless chicken at the moment. I try and catch up when I can, but at the moment I have terrible problems with my neck and can't sit at the computer for too long. Hopefully will get a bit of free time over the weekend and be able to catch up more.
All the men over here in the UK seem to be sporting beards at the moment...the young ones anyway, must be the trend! He suits his & it's nice & tidy......a good title Babs !
this is wonderful , and i think the title is perfect, what a fun challenge and maybe the beard thing is just in !!! my son , my father, nephew, all have beards
@sioux It could be intended for him to have his shirt to match the water. Very often out here outdoor people usually wear either green or blue especially when they are in the bush because they blend in with the environment. Usually bird watchers wear green so they don't get noticed.
@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel. The people photos which I put on here on a Friday was my idea. I just wanted to do a theme of my own for one day a week so I didn't have to take a photo every day. It isn't a set theme for 365.
@888rachel I probably notice beard too and then think he looks interesting. Start up a conversation with them and then ask if I can take their photo. I have met a lot of interesting people since I started this theme.
@pittcj17 Thanks cindy. I take lots of people photos of men and women, but only just realized that the majority of the men I seem to find to photograph have beards.
@loweygrace Thanks so much Lois. When I started doing people shots one day a week I would never have guessed that I would still be finding people over a year and a half later.
