As most of you will know I post a 'people' photo on here on a Friday. Can you spot the imposter? This week's photo was taken at the beginning of June when we all congregated at Shoal Bay to be part of the Human Whale Photo. It was organized as a protest against whaling and also promotion for the whale watch cruises in the area.
@darthkitty Somebody gave him a cup of coffee and I thought they only ate krill.
@chimfa I could just see you dressed up like a whale Jane.
@annied Sorry Annie, Sally got the right answer, it was the tall chap on the right. She won the coconut. You get the consolation prize of a cabbage.
@hermann Would love to deliver it, but a bit busy at the moment. You will have to come down here. I am sure you are right and we would have a whale of a time.
They all like quite normal to me Babs, don't know if I could find an imposter! Haha!
Such a great idea to raise awareness about whaling though, it is a horrible act and needs to be stopped as soon as possible! x
You made me laugh...love reading all the funny comments!
I think you are all impostors & the whale is the only one in the right place! It is after all a human whale photo....I see only one whale!

Thank you everyone for joining in the fun. There were some very creative answers to my question spot the imposter. Pat and Eve made a very good point and I suppose I have to rethink the winner. The winner for the title of 'human whale' I suppose should go to the whale as he is the only one who is both human and whale. Well spotted. I can see I will have to buy another coconut now as the prize is already on its way to Sally @hermann Pat and Eve can share half a coconut each. I am not spending any more money on this competition ha ha.
There is only one flaw in Pat and Eve's comment though and that is this whale is a blue whale and we only have humpback whales travelling up our coast.
Paula, it was a bit on the chilly side, but not too bad. ha haThis was taken on the 1 June which is the first day of winter here and I believe the temperature was 22 degrees according to the local weather map. We are quite sensitive to the cold out here you know. Australia makes the blood go thin.
An update on the event - The human whale event was recorded in our local paper and apparently 1000 people turned up to be part of it. Photos were taken from a helicopter by local photographer Ray Alley.
Thank for the half coconut Babs.........I don't like coconut so @creampuff can have my half....hope you enjoy Eve!! LOL......we do have som fun on here don't we!
@eyesmile Thanks Gena. Yes he was very friendly and lots of kids had their photo taken with him. He looked really funny when I spotted him walking round carrying a cup of coffee too.
Hasn't he got a lovely smile.
@kathiecb I think you are right Kathie. As the event was for the 'human whale' photograph, the whale is the only 'human whale' there. He was the only one who came dressed for the part. Good thinking.
@gigiflower Thanks Sam. How did you guess.
