Today we have been out with the photography club on a scavenger hunt. We each had 30 clues and had to wander around Nelson Bay to find and photograph what we thought was the answer to the clue.
Today's picture isn't the best picture in the world but it is the answer to the clue which was - What is clean when it is black and dirty when it is white. Answer a chalkboard.
We had two hours to do the hunt and then we went to the Bowling Club for lunch. After that we totted up our answers and showed our photos to prove that we had indeed taken the shots we said we had. I got first place and won a bottle of wine.
@gigiflower Thanks Sam, it was a very busy day. After the hunt we then had lunch and then showed our photos. After that there was a club committee meeting and I am on the committee, so didn't get home till 6 pm.

@happypat Thanks Pat, we are a fun camera club, we don't take things too seriously, just enjoy ourselves. You are more than welcome to join us for breakfast one day. We had already had breakfast this day at home, but were out for lunch so that was good. We regularly go out for breakfast with friends at the many cafes in our area though.

Oh how fun! We are going to do a Portland Area meet up on Saturday and are planning a scavenger hunt. Really looking forward to it. Love this shot and menu looks great!
@kathiecb I think this particular cafe is a bit on the expensive side, but the bacon and eggs on this menu is actually bacon (half a pig), two eggs, mushrooms, beans and mushrooms and toast plus a coffee or tea. So not too bad I suppose. Didn't eat there, but saw one of the orders being delivered.
@paulaw Thanks Paula. My brain hasn't gone completely, I just misplace it from time to time, ha ha. It is true a lot of our outings involve food at the end of them. If someone else is cooking, I am eating.

The answer to one of the riddles was coffee and as I walked past a cafe I asked a girl sitting at one of the tables if I could take a picture of her coffee. She thought I was a bit odd, but she said okay. then I noticed that the answer to another of the riddles was a fork, so after I had taken the coffee photo I said is it okay if I take a photo of your fork too. I took the shots and then ran before she sent for the men in white coats. ha ha.
