Friday people day again and I know this isn't the best picture in the world, but I saw this chap in Newcastle and had to ask him if I could take a photo of him.
He said that a few people had wanted photos of him because of his moustache.
Apparently it took him 3 years to grow it to this length and at one time it was even longer.
He was a lovely chap and very friendly.
I would like to say thank you so much to the amazing response to yesterday's Silhouettes at Sunset photo and for putting it on the PP.
There were so many replies I am sorry but I can't reply to everyone individually. Thank you all again.
I did manage to catch up with the housework yesterday though and I think I am going to need therapy now and a lie down. I have decided that I am definitely allergic to housework. ha ha.
Another of your bearded fella's Babs --but with a difference this time ! I do not like his plaited moustache ,but he has gorgeous blue eyes !! A great capture Babs !
@hermann@beachdog@leestevo Thanks. He seemed to be in a bit of a rush as he raced past me, but when I asked him if I could take his photo he was very pleased and chatty.
@pcoulson Thanks Peter. Ha ha, it would take David longer than that to grow a moustache too. He could grow a decent beard, but the moustache would look rather like a dead spider I suspect.
@karlow75 Thanks Kane and thanks for the congratulations on yesterday's shot too. I was amazed at the response. It was one of those right place right time shots. I took three shots as they walked past and that was it.
365 and housework don't mix. Fascinating fella. I think I am getting flu so house will have to wait. Always the way when you work in a school, you get ill at half term! Typical.
Great plaiting Babs....that would be a sight watching him plait his moustache! A real interesting Friday person....looks like he was pleased to partake too!
@neatz I agree Anita, housework and 365 definitely don't mix. I am writing up my family history story for my sister at the moment too, so that is taking up a lot of time.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
@happypat Thanks Pat. Yes he was very nice and seemed quite happy that I asked him. If you look closely you can see David's reflection in the window next to him. Waiting patiently while I chatted up the bloke and took his picture, ha ha.
@stray_shooter thanks Ron. I think I am past 100 now though. I have been posting 'people' photos on a Friday for over 2 years and most of them are strangers. Some I might add are stranger than others. ha ha.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
