Yesterday we stayed at Mittagong and caught up with a friend of ours. Had a lovely day.
This selection of photos was taken today at Berrima on our way to Canberra.
The top two photos are of an old cottage and a shed and the bottom two are of the Berrima Correctional Centre and the Historic Court House.
I will try and catch up with your photos when I get chance but we have been at the Enlighten Festival in Canberra tonight and it is pretty late now, so I am off to bed.
I will post photos of the festival when I get chance.
Wonderful collection of colourful building Babs all beautifully captured, can't wait to see the capital's buildings painted with light during the festival, have a great time charge the camera batteries, and take lots of images:)
@pcoulson Thanks Peter. I will, Not sure when I will get chance to process the photos I have taken yet though. Will put a people shot on today as it is Friday. Well at least I think it is Friday. Lose track of days when we are on the road. ha ha.
Lovely collage Babs. Is the Berrima pub still there?. It was the oldest licenced premises in Oz. As a young hoon, we always stopped in there for a beer to celebrate when we were driving between Canberra and Sydney.
@terryliv Yes the pub is still there. I believe it is the oldest continuously licensed pub in Australia. Built in 1834 I believe, Your GG Grandfather would have been able to go there if he could nip out of the prison, its only down the road.
