The last leg of our journey and we left Yass this morning, on the road to Newcastle, Nelson Bay and when we were almost home we spotted this bush fire.
The weather has been so dry during our travels and the only bush fire we spot is within a few kilometres of our home.
I am going to have a very quiet night tonight and will catch up in the next few days.
I am not jet lagged after our travels, but I think I am Subaru lagged.
Another interesting collage from your return journey, soon be time to get your feet up and have a nice cup of tea in the comfort of your own home Babs:)
@karlow75 Thanks Kane. Had a great trip. Clocked up almost 3000 km and almost got skittled as we were coming out of our local shopping centre picking up milk and bread on our way home.
The clown who nearly caused the accident indicated left into the shopping centre as we were leaving and then decided to drive straight on instead. Managed to avoid a collision though but there were a few rude words from David to the driver.
@pcoulson Thanks Peter. I will look forward to putting my feet up in a few days. Got a mountain of washing done today though. Dried pretty quick as it is 30 degrees C today, which is good.
Clocked up 3000 km in 2 weeks. I am Subaru lagged now, not jet lagged.
@happypat Thanks Pat. We had a great trip, but it is lovely to be home. We clocked up almost 3000 km in 2 weeks. (1864 miles). I am exhausted now. got a ton of washing done today and now I have to process all my photos.
@kathiecb Thanks Kathie. I am photo'd out now. Quite a journey, 1 day in Mittagong, 5 days in Canberra, 2 days in Geelong, 1 day in Queenscliff, 5 days in Melbourne and then home. 3000 km (1864 miles).
@tabarlett@888rachel Thanks. I am exhausted, tackled a ton of washing today. Would you believe we are out with the walking group tomorrow. Maybe get a rest at the weekend. Got all my photos to process too.
