Camping

I am filling in some of the gaps and showing what has been happening here while we have been without power for four days due to the massive east coast low storm on Monday and Tuesday.

Our power was off from Tuesday afternoon until Saturday night and we are now realising just how bright electric lights are after living with LED battery light and candle light for four days.

This picture shows our source of power and cooking facilities for four days while the electricity was off.

As you can see we had all the mod cons necessary to survive - three ring LPG gas camping stove, gas burner for boiling kettles for cups of tea and candlelight and LED battery lights for lighting.
Such a long time to be without power. My heart goes out to you! Nice capture, BTW and love that you kept going for your project!

If we donr have power in our caravan at least we have gas & lighting from our solar powers....hence we are sep up for free camping. Take care Bab, i heard more wild weather is coming your way.

Like those LED lamps, they would be handy, at least you had some camping supplies :)

Thank goodness you had access to a gas stove and could at least get a good cuppa.

Lookin good Babs. We were without power after a big storm for a few days some years ago and we used to use our little solar lights that were normally in the garden to provide light in the house. Ha Ha Ha

Great shot Babs. The novelty of this sort of camping does wear a bit thin after a few days. Glad you are all safe and getting back to normal.
