Last night we went out for dinner with friends to celebrate the return of the electricity and this was the sunset we saw on our way.
There was still plenty of rain in those clouds and it did rain when we were on our way home, but today has been a beautiful day and I have got a ton of washing done which I wasn't able to do while the power has been off.
Thanks to everyone who have commented on the photos since my return to 365 after being AWOL for a few days.
I am still on catch up and if I haven't got to your photos yet I will do pretty soon. Still trying to get back to normal living at the moment.
David's computer hard drive bit the dust due to the power outage, so he is trying to get that fixed today. He's not happy. Could be worse though we still have my desktop computer and a laptop and a notebook so its not too bad.

@jennywren Thanks for the fav Jen. We have just about got back to normal now after having no power for 4 days due to the east coast low (sub tropical cyclone) apparently another east coast low is heading our way this weekend, but hopefully not as bad as the last one.

Thanks for the suggestion Lee on the crop. I did try what you suggested and although it looks great I prefer it with the beach in the foreground because this way you look into the picture rather than just at it. Always good to try different things though. It is amazing how a different crop gives a totally different feel to a picture.
Apparently we have got more storms forecast for the weekend. Fingers crossed we keep the power this time.
