A Titanic Moment by onewing

A Titanic Moment

We have just got home. David and I have been up at Boat Harbour watching out for whales. Saw quite a few, but didn't get any photos of them. Then we went to Birubi and took photos there.

So I am posting my regular Friday people photo, going to have a cuppa and then get dinner ready. Will download the photos I took this afternoon and then check out 365 later this evening.

I took this photo when we were in Victoria in March and this was on the Queenscliff to Sorrento ferry.

I was watching this couple having a Titanic moment while their friend was taking photos of them, so I thought I would cash in on their photo.

Great fun shot Babs!

@thistle @salza @gilbertwood @gigiflower @annied @yaorenliu Thanks, they were having a lovely time. I think they were with a school group

@888rachel Thanks Rachel. I saw a whale breaching today too. Not processed the photos yet though. They were quite a way off so maybe it won't turn out so good.

@karlow75 Yes I thought it was the same ferry. Have you ever been on it? It is the first time we have gone that way from Geelong to Kilsyth which is where the grandchildren are. Much more pleasant journey than going through the centre of Melbourne.
June 27th, 2015
@creampuff No, thankfully we stayed afloat. It was a bit too warm that day to come across icebergs.

@stray_shooter Thanks Ron. All ended happily too, we didn't sink.

Not sure if she was hanging on or pushing him in!
June 27th, 2015
Ha ha that's brilliant, not quite Leonardo and Kate though!
June 27th, 2015
@chimfa ha ha, he survived the trip so I guess she must have been hanging on.
June 28th, 2015
@paulaw ha ha, not quite, but they were still quite young. I think they were on a school outing because when we got off the ferry we drove to Frankston to the sand sculptures and we saw them there with their group of students and teachers too.
