I woke up with a splitting headache this morning so didn't manage to go out with the walking group. I did go for lunch afterwards though, so got to do the best bit of the day.
My head is clearing now. Still need a neck transplant, but I think it could take a while before the medics can do that.
This is a picture of our house, can you see me waving, ha ha.
Poor you, hope you are feeling better today. Lovely view of your town. You have see and country by the look of it. I guess these are the aerials from yesterday. I must say they are a blight on the view, although a necessary one.
What a wonderful place to live...sea and countryside and a lovely town. Lucky you. I'm waving back. Hope you can see me. Hope the headache is much better and that the neck is improving.
@julzmaioro@thistle The clue is down towards the bottom left of the picture hidden amongst the trees. We've got quite a few trees in our garden so we are pretty well hidden. Brick coloured roof.
@jennywren Yes they are the aerials from yesterday. They don't spoil the view, the view is out to sea and along the beach, not up on Gan Gan and when you are up Gan Gan you look out to sea not at the aerals, so all is good.
@gigiflower@beryl@pcoulson@happysnaps@gilbertwood@chrysanthemum Thanks, my neck is much better now. sometimes I wake up wearing someone else's neck and it doesn't fit as good as mine, ha ha. Just get nerves trapped and they cause the headache. I saw a second hand neck on eBay today, put in a bid but was out bidded, maybe next time.
@onewing -Have you thought of getting a neck roll to put under your neck when in bed -- I have been using one for years to relieve the pain from spondylitis in the back/neck and it does help . You could try rolling a towel to put under your neck to support it before deciding to buy a Med. neck roll !! It's worth a try !!
@beryl I'll give it a go Beryl. I have tried most things, but I just get nerves trapped. I think I need to sleep upright. David has suggested we put cup hooks in the ceiling and hang me from that in a harness with a doona wrapped around me. I think I would look like a bat, ha ha. but it might work.
Not pleasant to suffer from neck pain. I hope you can find something that can help ease the pain on a more permanent basis. It looks like a wonderful neighbourhood.
@mbmomentsintime Yes that is the one with the aerials yesterday and no we don't get good mobile phone or wireless internet access because our house is in the dip with the band of trees behind the houses and it restricts the airwaves. They wanted to put in a repeater in the clump of trees on the right of this picture but people got up in arms about it. The annoying thing is that the people who complained had good mobile coverage anyway so it didn't affect them. Isn't it always the way.
@bella_ss@paulaw@dolphin Thanks and my head is much better today. Got physio this afternoon on my wrist so I will mention about the headaches and hopefully she can do something about that too.
@pippie@loweygrace@bkbinthecity@sdutoit@cruiser@yaorenliu Thank you all, glad you spotted me waving. My neck is much better now. I went to physio yesterday about my wrist and she played about with my neck too, so much better today.
