@gilbertwood@annied@happysnaps@bulldog@777margo@quietpurplehaze@ziggy77@gigiflower@beachdog@hermann@gamelee@terryliv@gilbertwood Thanks everyone. She is very well fed Sam. She visits every day along with her partner. We originally named her 'Bung Eye' and her partner 'squawk' because they had a bit of a domestic at some stage and she had a bung eye for a while. It has healed now though as you can see, but she does have one wing which is a bit droopy so I have renamed her 'onewing' after guess who. Each day when they turn up I say who have we here and she just sits doing a bit of a happy dance and her partner says 'squawk'. Hence his name. ha ha.
Great fun title and at that heat I have sympathy for the bird. I often have my tail end in water for different reasons, I wan't go there as it's a family site. (Wink) FAV
Well done. The heat is terrible here to. Yesterday it was 38 degrees in the shade on my stoep and 48 degrees in the direct sun, according to my thermometer. Bit better today with clouds.
@taffy@soboy5@fntngrma@eyesmile@yeshanghai Thanks so much, she is such a character, we feed her raw mince every day and when she spots me she does a little happy dance, it looks so funny. Her wings flap and her beak opens and closes. She is so sweet.
I fell in to a burning ring of fire . . . . . @gilbertwood
She visits every day and I feed her raw mince. I used to call her bung eye because when she first visited she had an injured eye. I think she had a bit of a domestic with her partner who also visits and we call him squawk because whenever I say 'which one are you' he says 'squawk'
I now call this kookaburra onewing now though because her eye has healed and she has one wing that droops a bit.
