Hi again, we are back. Sailed into Sydney at 6 am today. Had a fabulous holiday but I am shattered now. Need another holiday to recover from this one.
New Zealand was fabulous and I will put in fillers covering the last two weeks a few at a time for the missing day when I have more time, showing the places we have visited on our cruise.
I will catch up with your photos once we have unpacked, sorted out all the washing etc and filled the fridge with food again.
We will be having a really quiet Christmas.
PS I think I need to add here that we have been on a cruise around New Zealand with some of our U3A group. 42 of our U3A members have been on the cruise and we had a fantastic time. Now we are back to reality though and have to think about cooking meals and doing all the usual domestic stuff. Ugh.
We went on a cruise to Port Douglas a few years ago with the same group to see the solar eclipse and had such a good time that it was decided we give cruising another go and this time we chose New Zealand.
We were up at 5 am today and this photo was taken just before 6 am as we sailed into Sydney Harbour.
Nice to see you back , and this must have been a beautiful sight for you after a wonderful holiday . I love the golden tones of the morning sun reflecting on the buildings as you come to land . A beautiful pov and shot .
You're home yippee! Will be even more interested in seeing your photos too Babs! Get yourself organised & have a good rest before you wade into full time posting! Hope your holiday just gave you that lift you bpneeded so much! Lovely shot of Sydney harbour!
I knew you would have a wonderful time. We have done that cruise twice. I think one of the most magical parts is sailing back into Sydney Harbour. Hope you didnt eat too much ha! ha!
Worth the early rise, the light is beautiful. Sounds like a great trip with a good bunch of people. Hope your cold soon better and have a good Christmas too.
Welcome back.
