As the title suggests, I am not really a flower person, but at the weekend while I was playing about with photos in Photoshop I came across this day lily photo taken previously and had a bit of a play with it. I liked the different colours I had created but couldn't decide which one I preferred best, so I put them all together in a collage.
I will be a bit out of touch with 365 over the next few days because I have just installed Windows 10 on my computer and have yet to iron out a few settings that need changing.
Also we are out tomorrow at a barbeque and on Sunday at the cinema, so time will be limited this weekend.
Thanks everyone who commented on my last two photos and for putting them both on the PP I really appreciate it and will get back to you when I get chance.
@365projectorgjenfurj A friend of mine wants a flower photo with a bit of a difference in a frame and I have been playing about with flower photos to see if she would like any of them. She does like the collage but the orange flower is her favourite. A canvas print sounds like a good idea with this instead of just a print. I will have to ask her if she wants it as a canvas. It would suit her house perfectly.
@jackie8 Thanks Jackie. Windows 10 isn't too bad. We already have it on David's desktop computer and also on my laptop so we are now putting it on my desktop. Just need to find all the settings that we need to change. We know what they are but it is time consuming trying to change them. Not doing it tonight though because we have been out with friends at our regular wine tasting and barbecue afternoon, so best to sort windows 10 when I am sober, ha ha.
@taffy Thanks Taffy. I very rarely take photos of flowers, they don't work for me somehow, but I have played with this photo for a friend who wants a flower photo in a frame in her house so this is what I have come up with. She likes the collage, but her favourite is the orange flower. I will print it for her.
@happysnaps@yaorenliu Thanks. Photoshop isn't too bad. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube and I love Gavin Hoey's tutorials. Once you figure all the basic tools you can have great fun playing. There are a few good books on photoshop too.
