I took this photo last Saturday when we were at the marine rescue event and thought it would be a good shot for my Friday people.
It was a bitterly cold morning and as I was walking back along the breakwater to the marina I came across this chap doing some fishing. I guess he thought it was cold too.
You can see by the way his beard is blowing in the wind that it was quite breezy. Not so cold though once I got back to the marina out of the wind.
Oh my gosh, for a split second I thought that was my brother! He looked just like that before Christmas when a new job forced him to get rid of most of his facial hair. Even my other half who didn't look closely first time said it was brother! Freaked me out abit Babs, lol, lol.
You have to be keen to sit in the cold fishing I reckon! That beard would keep a bit of the wind out but he still has his sunglasses on so can't be bad!
he looks more than happy for you to be taking his picture. The cold comes across and I like the way his beard picks up the light to bring some brightness into the foreground.
