Mackerel Sky

I have had a busy day today and no time for photos.

It has bucketed down with rain all day too, such a difference from yesterday's weather.

I have got a few busy days ahead too, so here is another photo from our walk on the beach late yesterday afternoon.

I think I will be posting more photos from our walk over the next few days too.

I can't believe how much the sky can change in the space of an hour.

On our way back along the beach I just loved the colours in this mackerel sky.

This is a beautiful image Babs. Do post more of these. I was sitting outside eating breakfast this morning discussing skies with my husband (we are both off work today). last night I had been looking at just such a sky (in a far less idyllic setting) and we were wondering what the cloud formation was called - now I know. The clouds are whispy this morning. Yes it is fascinating to watch the clouds change.
