Kite Surfers

We've been out with the walking group today and the walk was followed with a barbeque.

I took this photo of kite surfers when we stopped at Birubi Beach for a cuppa during our walk.

@cruiser It is always choppy on this side of the Bay. this is the ocean side as opposed to the sheltered bay side of Port Stephens. It is popular with surfers of all types.

@pcoulson Don't think my knees would cope with kite surfing. Or any other part of my body for that matter. My nephew is a regular kite surfer over in WA.

@leggzy Thanks. I love watching them and the ordinary surfers too. You will have to move to the coast. We were lucky as this was our last posting when David was in the RAAF and we just stayed here.

@helenhall I'm happy just watching too. It amazes me how the manage not to get tanged up with each other. There were about four kite surfers here on this day and all got pretty close to each other at times.

I love the pale blue sky and the 2 toned blue sea, a really good clear action shot Babs. I would love to try this one day, but being so uncoordinated I will no doubt spend the majority of my time in the sea....
