The weather can't make up its mind what to do today. We were supposed to go out with the walking group this morning, but our plans had to change. It didn't look too good weatherwise though. It started off really dull and rainy, then the sun shone, more rain followed, then thunder, then sun again. It is beginning to feel like Melbourne - four seasons in one day!
A few days ago we went out to Boat Harbour to see if we could spot any whales, no whales but lots more spring flowers, so this afternoon I put a collage together of some of the flowers.
Beautiful (and surprising for you, Babs!) collage of lovely flowers. I really like the way you have organised the colours, especially the sunny yellow!
It won't stop raining here and we are due for a storm at some stage today. Our back yard as flooded again due to all the rain. The poor chickens are drenched! We had to let them out so they could take shelter under the pergola as they get very wet when hiding under their house.
@golftragic I know Marnie, I think I will probably need therapy, ha ha.
The reason I was limited to photographing flowers was because we had been to Boat Harbour to see if we could spot whales, but none on the horizon so we wandered into the bushland so that David could photograph birds instead. As I am even less of a photographing birds in the wild person than I am a flower person this was the only option left to me. I was quite pleased with the result though. So maybe flowers will grow on me, not literally of course.
Lovely collage, fav. I like how you organised this with the yellows in the middle of each of the outer lines and the white flowers running on a diagonal, very pretty. And what a beautiful collection of flowers you saw! I love flower photography as you know, but I only really started to love it when I got my head around my macro lens.
