Marina Reflections by onewing

Marina Reflections

I took this photo yesterday evening when the skies were still grey and we thought we were going to get rain. It didn't happen and it is warming up again today.
Nice reflections, I wish we would get some rain. No luck but we will have 37 degrees tomorrow!

can almost see the water moving. A wonderful reflection, pity there are no raindrops in the picture. We are up to 39 again tomorrow but I'm not complaining as I much prefer summer to winter.

Great reflections Babs. We're hanging out for some rain too. Other than one shortish rain event it's been dry as a chip.

Very cool reflections & composition :)
January 17th, 2017
@nicolecampbell We haven't had any rain for 2 weeks and we didn't get much then. Hope it rains soon.
January 17th, 2017
@beryl It is the southern hemisphere Beryl, so what do you expect, ha ha. I will rectify this when you see today's shot.
January 17th, 2017
@gigiflower Me too Sam. I love the patterns the reflections make.
January 17th, 2017
@ethelperry I hope we get rain too Ethel. It is so dry here.
January 17th, 2017
@cruiser I prefer summer to winter too Chris, but 39 degrees is ok for a couple of days, at a time, but more than that and I start to wilt.
January 17th, 2017
@hermann Oh dear, sounds a bit like the good news and the bad news.
January 17th, 2017
@suesouthwood Thanks Sue. I have flipped a few reflection shots before, but it didn't work so well that way for this shot in my opinion. I will post the flipped version today and see what you think.
January 17th, 2017
@thistle I did think of flipping it Joyce as I have done a few flipped reflections before. I will post the flipped version today and see what you think.

Great composition! Love the reflections

@golftragic Same here Marnie. The forecast keeps predicting rain but it never happens. I suppose they think that if they say it often enough it will happen. One day they will be right.

January 17th, 2017
@onewing That's right Babs. Maybe that's what they're up to.
January 18th, 2017
@golftragic 41 degrees here today. We were out for breakfast on the beach this morning and it was 35 degrees at 8.30 am.
January 18th, 2017
@onewing 35 here yesterday, lucky if hits 25 today and a brisk southerly to boot. I can get used to hot (not 40s though), but need more consistence to acclimatise the old bod.
