Pirate Ship

It is so hot today that even the pirates have deserted the ship.

Apparently we are in for a very hot weekend too, so I think I will be staying indoors and playing with Photoshop on the computer.

39 degrees is being predicted for Stanthorpe on Sunday, a record if it happens and I think it will. The capsicums are cooking in the paddocks :(

While back in Texas we are complaining about February days of 80 degrees Fahrenheit. We have not had a real winter this year! Your pirate ship playground looks like a great place for children, such a creative concept.

@nicolecampbell I am staying indoors. Had to drive David to a friends house this afternoon because he can't drive at the moment with his torn muscle and even with the aircon in the car on full blast it took a while to be able to hold the steering wheel with more than one finger and one thumb.

I had to go out briefly this afternoon to drive David to a friends house and it was so hot. Luckily his pal is going to drive him home. I am not going out again. Roll on Monday when a cool change is forecast.
February is the only month I dislike, it is just too hot and humid.

You could fry eggs on the slide Babs, though they might need rescuing at the bottom. Sorry to hear you're sweltering again. South of the divide down here is quite mild. North of the divide is another kettle of fish, up to twenty degrees hotter. Mildura and Swan Hill hit 46 yesterday.
