An Escher Moment Seeing-To

I am not able to get out and take photos at the moment as there is so much going on here, so here is a photo taken at Dunedin Railway Station in New Zealand when we were there last year on holiday.

I posted a colour version of this previously and decided to give it a bit of a seeing to.

As you can see I was influenced by M C Escher on this shot.
It is a fantastic stairway ... I recognized it before I read your commintury ... looks great in b&w.. hope things settle down for you so that you can get back to the camera soon..

Wow, what an amazing looking stairway. I love the designs and the patterns and all the lines and shapes, fave. I just saw your link for the colour image... it doesn't have the impact that this edit has, I find this picture quite stunning.
