For Jorlam

A few weeks ago I posted a photo of a shipping container decorated with aboriginal art at our local adult education centre.

Jorlam @jorlam asked if I could post a photo of the side on view of this aboriginal art the same way I posted this next photo which shows the other side of the container.

http://365project.org/onewing/365/2017-07-04

I explained that I couldn't post the full side of the container because for one the sun is on that side most of the day and the glare is quite high. Also there is a pergola close to the other side and I would have to stand under the pergola to take the whole side of the container. The poles from the pergola spoil the scene. Another thing is that in the afternoon the pergola causes the bottom half of the container to be in shade so it doesn't make a great picture. I said I would go back on a cloudy day and take photos of each section of the artwork and put them all in a collage. Friday was a cloudy day and this is the result. Hope you like it Jorlam.
@jorlam Here you go Jorlam, I have posted the sections of the aboriginal art on the shipping container for you. Hope you like it.

@pcoulson Yes indeed Peter, each section of the art was painted by a different family member of the Warrimay (Worimi) people and it is significant to that particular family.

This artwork was painted by local aboriginal Worimi people and the designs on each section is significant to a particular family and tells the story of that family through history.

@onewing Babs, What a humungously generous gesture and how wonderful you are.. Thank you so very much..
Do i like it? NO.. i absolutely LOVE IT.. it is a fabulous collage and, i think, a wonderful tribute to the People.
There's something about Australian Aboriginal artwork which effects me on a very deep level, maybe a primeval level. Whatever it is i can lose myself, in no time at all..
Am i a happy bunny?? you bet.. 😘
