A bit late posting tonight because it is my birthday and we have been out for dinner with friends.
I just love the candelabra (chandelier) in the restaurant. Had a seniors moment here. I am allowed them on my birthday. It was very difficult blowing out the candles though. Found it much easier to just turn the lights off. ha ha.
A very happy birthday Babs! Hope you had a wonderful day, sounds like you did! A very big cake & far too many candies!! I had my birthapday a couple of weeks ago & I don't count any more! 😘💐🎂🥂
Many happy returns of the day Babs.. i do hope your birthday was all you could wish it to be.. i hope your wish comes to fruition..
loving this image.. the chandelier is magnificent and you have photographed it beautifully..
Happy Birthday Babs, sorry about not being able to blow out the candles. Did you see the little piece in the paper yesterday by some party-pooper whining about all the bacteria that land on birthday cakes when the candles are blown out. Good grief Charlie Brown, what next??
@golftragic No I didn't see that Marnie. What a moron. I come from Yorkshire and one of my Nanna's favourite sayings was 'You have to eat a ton of muck before you die'.
The reason we have so many asthmatics these days is because everything has to be sanitised and there is no immunity to bugs etc.
I have a friend who won't touch a toilet door handle without using a hankie and she Dettol's the doorknobs when her grandkids arrive in case they bring 'germs' with them.
You have celebrated your birthday in first class style! Wishing you a great year ahead and that this and all your birthday wishes come true! Lovely shot.
@888rachel You are too kind Rachel. Definitely not enough candles at all. I could cause a power cut in South Australia with the number of candles I would need.
( if you`ve a night you can`t sleep maybe that`s time to watch the old ones.)
