Hourglass

Thanks so much for your lovely comments and favs for yesterday's Sands of Time photo and for putting it on the PP.

Today here is a shot of the naked hourglass so to speak. I just loved the shapes and curves of the glass itself.

In a bit of a rush at the moment because we have got friends coming for dinner this evening so I won't be able to catch up until later.
The wonderful reflected light emphasizing the shapes very well, its a great monochrome image Babs:)

Ha ha, I instantly thought "oh yes, this is my waist......." But it SO isn't!! The ideal 1940's figure but I am a long way past this one. Makes for an interesting shot.

@casablanca I have just watched a TV programme about Queen Mary of Teck and her waistline looked just like this when she was a young lady. She mustn't have been able to breathe with a corset pulled so tight.
