Morpeth Cottage

I am a bit absent from 365 at the moment, we are having rather a busy week.

I had a medical appointment this morning and then we were out for lunch at our U3A presenters party.

This is one of the quaint little cottages at Morpeth. The plaque by the door reads 'Nanna and Grandpa's House'

It is a beautiful little cottage. there are a quite a few historic houses on this street. Morpeth was developed in the 1830s as a river port in New South Wales. Its takes its name from Morpeth in Northumberland, UK. It only has a population of about 900 people and is now a tourist destination. The rail line and river port are long gone.
