I have had a day at home today and had intended wrapping Christmas presents and writing Christmas cards. That all went pear shaped this morning when a friend turned up unexpectedly. Of course, we had to have a cuppa and a chat and by the time he left it was lunch time.
We had lunch and then David was out this afternoon at his regular model train session at his pals house.
Another friend phoned while we were having lunch and asked if she could have a copy of our U3A photo course sessions that we presented in PowerPoint over this year. Of course, I said yes and she turned up with a memory stick to copy the presentations to. We then chatted the rest of the afternoon over cups of tea and mince pies.
I guess the cards and presents plan will be left till tomorrow now.
I took this photo a couple of days ago and I loved the simplicity of it and the layers of waves.
I am having that trouble with card writing too! I started but am nowhere near finished because of interruptions one way or another! I do love looking at your beach and ocean shots. I really miss it.
This so looks like a place we go to called Plum Island which is a nature reserve and has a fantastic long hard sandy beach with waves that often look like this. Funny how there are so many places in the world that look alike. Great shot.
Always nice to have people popping in - cards can be done in spare other times! This looks exactly like one of our beaches, in fact one I've recently photographed. love the quiet action of the waves!
