Thanks so much for your lovely comments on yesterday's dunny photo.
This dunny is in much better shape than the last one.
We were at our girlie lunch a few weeks ago and I saw this dunny in the garden. Thankfully it is no longer in use.
The sign on the door says 'Please wipe your feet'
I didn't venture inside.
I am posting early today because we have friends arriving soon for a couple of days. Looking forward to catching up with them, haven't seen them for a while. They have had quite an eventful journey to get here.
Won't be able to catch up again until Monday night.
What a great Dunny. Made me feel sad and thankful seeing this. We just lost my hubby's Uncle Les this week who lives in Perth. We stayed with them a couple of times and they with us for 6 weeks as well as seeing them often when they came back to visit England. He was a lovely lovely person and although he has been ill for some time still very sad but we have some wonderful memories.
Forgot to say that why it reminded me of him. It was when we stayed with them and travelled south down the west coast and stopped for a comfort break he would always remind us to check the dunny for redbacks! Bless him!
@mandygravil So sorry to hear your uncle has passed away. I am sure he would have loved this photo. Our iconic dunnies have memories for lots of people. Some of the toilets in National Parks here are dangerous places to visit, you always have to check them out for spiders and snakes.

I think this dunny is now used for storing garden tools.
