@flowerfairyann Yes, the humidity is the killer. Our normal humid month is February but this year it has crept in to January as well. The rest of the year is just fine. We can cope with high temperatures just as long as the humidity is low.
@lyndamcg@inthecloud5@happypat@craftymeg@helenhall Thanks. I think Lynda's idea of drilling a hole from the UK to Australia would be a good idea, we could definitely do with some of your rain. We have only had one day of rain (5 mm) since Christmas Eve. The dryer it gets the more risk of bushfires. We have had one really bad bushfire so far, but luckily that was about half an hour away from where I live.
Hoping you get some rain soon, it's cold and rainy with a threat of snow again over here......brr....nice to look at your picture though and imagine the warmth you are having.
