As some of you know, we had a very long day yesterday because I had a hospital appointment in Sydney. After a 14 hour trip and 450 kilometres my head was absolutely banging when I got home.
The only photo I took was this one as we drove through Newcastle on our way home.
I put the camera on the dashboard and took an 8 second exposure of the lights. My head was banging by this stage and the car and street lights just added to the pain. I think this sums up just how my head was feeling.
I was too exhausted to download the photo yesterday so had a play with it this afternoon.
I have had a very lazy day. Woke up about 2 am with terrible abdominal pain. Eventually got back to sleep and slept till 11 am, unheard of for me. David came in at one point to check if I was still breathing, ha ha.
The rest of today has been very lazy with me catching up with a programme I put on record because we were out yesterday and trying to catch up with some of your photos that I have missed over the last couple of days.
I have just discovered that my Candy Stripe crystal ball photo has made it to the Top Twenty. Thanks so much for putting it there, it really cheered up my day.
It has bucketed down with rain today so it was the perfect day to stay rugged up in front of the wood burner fire.
What a horrific night you had, I really feel for you as I have certain health issues too which keep me up . A clever and lovely shot to show what was going on in your head ;-)
A cool image and very nicely done. Hope everything went ok at the hospital - that's quite a trek you made. And congrats on making TT. I'm about to check that image out now šš
Interesting shot not sure I would have found the enthusiasm after a trek like that! I moan about having to travel to Leicester for appointments and that's only 1 hour away! Hope your feeling better soon :)
Quite the photo, it does illustrate your headache perfectly. Iām glad you got some rest. I just knew your crystal ball candy stripe would be on the TT. Congratulations!
Your photo captures your emotions perfectly. I hate driving long distances at night and that trip from Sydney to Newcastle can be awful. I hope the medical appointment was a success and you are feeling much better today.
Just been catching up with your photos ... all fantastic. Hope you have had a lovely day out today ... turned wet again this afternoon so safe trip home. See you soon!
@mittens@nicolecampbell@chloette@golftragic@narellemann Thanks. Feeling much better today. I had a really lazy day on Saturday and today we have been out all day in Newcastle, out for lunch and dinner and the theatre this afternoon.
Congratulations on the TT :)
Hopefully I have managed to catch up with all of your photos again now.
I am going to be absent today again, but a much nicer day is planned than the one I had on Friday. today we are out for a light lunch with friends, then our regular amateur theatre production this afternoon in Newcastle and out for dinner this evening with the friends who are coming to the theatre with us. So a busy day but a pleasant one.
