Bastille Day

Our local U3A has a French class and as it is Bastille Day today a group of us decided to celebrate by having lunch at a local restaurant.

As you can see some of the people dressed for the occasion.

Denis managed to hold on to his cardboard moustache until the red wine arrived and then he admitted defeat and removed it, the moustache not the wine.

Kitty wasn't sure if she was French or Scottish though because she has ancestors on both sides.

I don't attend the French class, I just went along for the lunch.
