@maggiemae @kjarn @ludwigsdiana To be honest David was issued with a pair of olive green long johns as part of his military kit during the Falklands War. They were called 'olive drabs' I don't think he actually wore them though.

There where times I was in countries in winters I love to wear them. Drying the laundry into the open air my wife still love to do.

You wouldn't have to see this as something in the past here- the Amish communities still line dry their wash and these items are usually amongst the clothing there. Nice shot!
