Box Beach

No time today again for photos as we have had our regular girlie lunch today. Lovely lunch and lovely company too.

While I was taking photos of the aftermath of the bush fire at Box Beach I thought I would take a photo of the actual beach too.

In the distance you can see Boondelbah Island which is an uninhabited island and home to the National Parks and Wildlife Reserve. Access to the island is for scientific and conservation purposes only.

@casablanca Thanks. No idea why it is called Box Beach. I will have to ask at our local Historical Society in the library. The library is being refurbished at the moment though so will be closed for a few weeks.
