We were out for lunch with friends yesterday at Soldiers Point and the waitress took this photo of us.
From left to right we are, me front left, Marie, Lloyd, John, Ros and David front right.
The restaurant doesn't look very crowded but there were other people to our right and also quite a few out on the balcony. We decided to stay inside though as it was quite windy.
Thanks so much for all the lovely comments and favs for yesterday's photo.
@maggiemae we had only just ordered our lunch and had just got the garlic bread and dips, so didnt have time to mess up the tablecloth and napkins. David usually manages to spill something down him but even he doesn't look messy
Hi Babs, lovely to see you & David & your fellow diners! All of you looking complete & enjoying each other’s company. I like the look of the restaurant, seems to be a lovely view out of the window there. Lovely to see you enjoying life in your beautiful country! Our friends are so very important to us as we get older & our families get on with theirs, to have our friends there experiencing similar interests, worries, sometimes ill health but all supporting each other through everything.
You are fine looking bunch! The waitress did a good job in taking the photo and the restaurant looks fresh and airy. I think I'd be staring at the boat model for a while!
@happypat It is a lovely place to eat overlooking the marina and Sunset Beach. The beach is the same place I took the photo of the sunset and bushfire shot a few days ago.
This restaurant at Soldiers Point overlooking the marina and Sunset Beach. It is one of Lloyd's favourite places to eat and until a couple of months ago was owned by an English couple who have now retired. It is the first time we have been back there since the new owners took it over. I have to admit we had a fabulous meal.
