Scribbly Gum Triptych by onewing

Scribbly Gum Triptych

I am still not able to get out to take photos, so today in between sleeps, I have had a play with some previous photos of my favourite tree, the scribbly gum.

Thanks so much for all the comments on yesterday's bushfire photo and I agree with you totally, they should lock up the culprits, although I doubt they will ever be able to catch them.

I am limited again with commenting because first of all I still don't feel too good although getting slightly better and also we have had terrific thunder storms here the last couple of days and another storm is just approaching. The computer will be switched off until the storm has passed.
These shots actually look as they would be accepted in the local art gallery!

I think the message on the Scribbly Gum says, "Get Well Soon!" If not that then some little insect is quite the artist. Good triptych!

Sorry for the group reply but this virus has really knocked me for six. I don't think I have ever felt this ill in years. I have to go back to the doc tomorrow to get the results of my latest blood tests. The virus has affected my kidneys and liver and I have been feeling as though I have been hit with a cricket bat.

I have lost over 4 kilos in a week because I am unable to eat. Hell of a way to lose weight eh. I'll have to stock up on mince pies when I feel better.

I just love the patterns on scribbly gum bark made by the larvae of the scribbly gum moth as it burrows patterns on the bark of the tree.

@kjarn Yes, we have had storms for the last few days although I think you had them worse than us. We just seem to get the edge of them. There were a few trees down on Friday though

@angelar @louannwarren Yes, don't they have the most amazing patterns. The patterns are made by the larvae of the scribbly gum moth as it burrows into the bark.
