Another busy day. Tai chi this morning, then coffee with friends before grocery shopping, home for a quick lunch then off to our regular craft class this afternoon.
Had to go back to the shopping centre after crafts because I forgot mushrooms on the shopping list this morning.
It is raining now so no chance to take photos today.
Here is another photo from Birubi a few days ago. As you can see it doesn't get crowded here, but if you look very closely you will see three photographers off in the distance taking photos on top of the dunes. I didn't climb up there because it is hard going climbing on the soft sand.
A stunning capture of these amazing dunes -I just love the colours and textures and those photographers in the distance really add to the scene . - an artist's dream !! fav
Great shot, the three photographers t the top add so much to it. I can imagine how difficult it would be to walk up there, much better to let them do all the hard work and photograph them from where you are :)
@inthecloud5 I've climbed over the dunes many times, but it really is hard work because the sand is so soft and you sink right into it
@peterday You are right Peter I can take photos in a rain storm, problem is I just need a few more hours in a day to be able to do that.
@angelar Yes the people were taking photos on top of the dunes, they carried a tripod up there too which must have been hard work because the sand is so soft and the dunes are huge.
@carole_sandford It is hard work being retired, I have no idea where I ever found time to work.
@olivetreeann Thanks Ann, the climb is doable in winter but not when it is still so hot here. Plus you need sturdy shoes and I was only wearing my sandals.
@golftragic It is indeed magic Marnie. I am never short of things to photograph here. It is my favourite place in the whole world. I can really breathe and relax there.
