This is the last of my photos taken in the Hunter Valley last Thursday.
Here you see two friends of ours who were on the day trip. Denis is a red wine drinker and he was trying to figure how to get this bottle of wine home with him.
@julzmaioro Ha ha, indeed, I think you would have to drink it slowly.
@robz Yes Hunter Valley Gardens are still there. This was at the village at the entrance to the gardens. We didn't go to the gardens this day because that would have been a full day out. The gardens are spectacular now and I remember them first being opened to the public in 2003. Bill Roche did a great job. The Christmas lights are well worth a visit if you are ever down this way during that period.
@pcoulson I think Denis was trying to figure where he could find a long ladder and a straw.

We were at RAF Akrotiri 83-86 and also lived in Erimi village for 8 months before we moved on camp. David was also at Dhekelia for a few months in 69 too. Small world.

@flowerfairyann @taffy It is a lovely place to visit. This is just the Hunter Valley village but the gardens next to here are spectacular.
