A bit late posting tonight. I took this photo yesterday in Newcastle. It is fascinating watching the ships being steered out of the harbour by the marine pilot and tugboats. This particular ship had 4 tugs steering it through the heads out into the ocean.
I will catch up with 365 again tomorrow. Deb left on the drive back to Melbourne late this morning. We have had a lovely time together, only marred by the loss of her camera. Haven't heard anything about it yet. There was no sign of it yesterday when we went to the light rail depot, but she has to ring lost property on Monday and also the police station to see if it has been handed in there. Fingers crossed, but I don't hold out much hope.
That’s a huge ship. On our cruises I always enjoy standing on our room’s balcony watching the pilot boats take us to shore. Tugs do a lot more than just guiding, I can’t imagine controlling a ship as large as that one.
