Still not had chance to go out with my camera due to medical appointments etc so here is another one from Monday.
After we had lunch in Newcastle and had been to the model railway shop, we still had time to spare before David's medical appointment, so we drove up to Merewether to see how wild the ocean was. It was pretty wild and we didn't dare get out of the car because we would have been drenched.
I did think of getting out with an umbrella to take some photos but I think I would have taken off like Mary Poppins.
As we sat in the car watching the raging ocean we saw this woman walk by with her dog. Can you spot them? I think they must have been mad to be out in this weather.
The blurry white stuff beyond the barrier is the ocean. ha ha
I love this! I have a similar picture of my partner taken in Brighton. I dragged him out in the pouring rain and he wasn't a happy chap that day. Thanks for the memory, a big fav from me!
I love the feeling of an Impressionistic abstract from this shot. Although it looks like a storm not fit for human experience- there she is- dog and all! I guess she was bound and determined to get some exercise in that day no matter what! Some dogs, like Labradors, love the water, but I don't know any that love the rain. Fav
