Another photo of the steam trains at Richmond Vale waiting for their facelift.

Yes, a few hundred hours of loving restoration needed, but will be gladly given and the results will be worth every bit of effort.

In definite need of some TLC, no doubt will be restored to their former glory in the future, Interesting image :-)

Ooh! So much work to do but won't they look grand when they are done? Will you be keeping a photo log of their progress?

Reminds me of Thomas the tank engine. Its good to know they'll be restored and not just simply scrapped.

I think the oldness and rust add that much more to this picture. Great capture

@wordpixman @hermann @creampuff @pcoulson @gigiflower @loweygrace @lafish @kathiecb @gamelee @lpot1985 @joeyc @dgrynn @ethelperry @golftragic @eyesmile @tomtom @888rachel Thank you all so much for your lovely comments. Richmond Vale railway museum is a great place and as you can imagine David and I end up there very often on our outings.
I don't suppose all of the railway engines get to be restored as some will be used for parts for other engines,
If anyone is interested here is a link to Richmond Vale. http://www.richmondvalerailwaymuseum.org/
